We are looking to recruit band 6 nurses or Paramedics/ECP's to complement our current team of Nurse and Urgent Care Practitioners to provide a quality 24/7 care and treatment service to the population of Swindon and its surrounding areas.
You will be highly self-motivated, committed, flexible and adaptable, working in a clinical setting, and seeing a diverse range of clinical conditions that require assessment, diagnosis and treatment, caring for all age groups from children to the older person.
The post holder will ideally require previous experience in an emergency or urgent care setting or similar, practicing autonomously and confidently and using evidence based decision making skills. Therefore successful completion of the Physical Assessment and Clinical Reasoning (PACR) course is ideally required for this post, or for those that have a paramedic background can demonstrate that they have the relevant experience and knowledge in advanced clinical assessment to work autonomously and independently .
There is also managerial / leadership responsibility in this role, including mentoring and developing junior colleagues and students.
