Digital Hub Roles
Job description
Mad about all things digital? Always looking for ways to improve things? Obsessed with beautiful digital design?
If the answers to the above are yes, then we want to hear from you.
Swindon Borough Council is about to embark on the Swindon Programme, a GBP 30m improvement and savings programme to help us to digitise many of our services, manage our demand more effectively
and operate in a more commercial fashion.
To deliver the Swindon Programme, we need to increase the digital capability and capacity across the Council and so have set up a Digital Hub to help drive digital improvements to our services.
We are looking for great people to fill two 18 month fixed term roles within the Hub:
Digital content designer (starting salary cGBP 26k)
We need people who can write great content for our website to help our residents transact with us in a couple of clicks. You'll work with digital process re-designers and digital developers to deliver a seamless digital experience for our residents which doesn't end with their request via our website but goes right through to fulfilment of their enquiry.
Web development analyst (starting salary cGBP 22k)
We're looking for a web development analyst who can help design great digital processes that are a joy for our staff and customers to use. You'll work with digital process re-designers and content designers as well as with service leads to move our services and processes on to our online platform Jadu.
To apply please send your CV and covering letter to Kate Bishop, Senior Programme Manager - kbishop@swindon.gov.uk outlining your experience to date and why you think you're perfect for one of these roles.
Please note we are currently experiencing intermittent problems with role profiles. If you are unable to open this please email recruitmentteam@swindon.gov.uk and we will email it to you.
Closing date: 19 October 2017 at 12 noon
Interview dates: 26 and 27 October 2017
