Job description
There has never been a more exciting time to work in Swindon. Swindon has a long term, ambitious vision to become a leading regional centre by 2030 with the fastest growing economy outside London. Recognised as a regional and national growth centre Swindon's Highway and Transport team has a critical role to play in this vision.
Working with Transport Planners
and Traffic Management staff in the Transport Planning Team you will provide support in the development, management, and procurement of small, medium and large transport infrastructure schemes and implementation of the Council's policies on sustainable transport.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the transport funding from development contributions.
*
Identifying and prioritising schemes by undertaking and commissioning feasibility studies.
*
Support Transport Planners in day to day liaison, co-ordination and organisation for projects.
*
Manage key documentation and provide support across the Transport Planning Team.
